Varjo VR-1 – High-end Virtual Reality Headset
Varjo’s Bionic Display™ makes VR-1 the world’s only VR device with human-eye resolution. Designed for use in complex and demanding industries, VR-1 also features the world’s most advanced eye tracking technology and is compatible with the most popular 3D software tools.
VR-1 comes with the highest-end features, made without compromises – from light, optical fiber cabling and active airflow to incredibly accurate, integrated eye tracking and more.

Bionic Display™
The resolution of other VR devices on the market is just a fraction of what the average human eye can see. With resolution that poor, it’s been impossible for professionals to work with VR in fields where extreme precision and visual fidelity are required. Now, Varjo’s Bionic Display™ delivers an unprecedented resolution of 60 pixels per degree – the equivalent of 20/20 vision.
With Bionic Display™, CADs, renders and simulations come to life in VR with never-before-seen clarity. Every detail, texture, contour and color are all just as crisp and clear as they are in the real world. You can read the smallest text and see objects at a distance. And real-time illumination appears just as it does in the real world.

Track & Analyze mit dem 20/20 Eye Tracker™
Varjo’s 20/20 Eye Tracker™ is the most advanced and powerful stereo eye tracking technology ever integrated into a VR headset, delivering unmatched accuracy and precision.
20/20 Eye Tracker™ works by reflecting images onto the eye and tracking them algorithmically. Designed entirely by Varjo’s engineers and optical design team to work with our human-eye resolution, VR-1 is the only device and platform in the world that can use eye tracking data with VR content that simulates reality.
Varjo’s 20/20 Tracker™ gives professionals access to eye data for use in research, analytics, training and simulation, industrial design, and more.

Varjo VR-1 und die besten 3D-Software-Tools
VR-1 joins forces with the world’s most powerful professional tools and 3D engines to transform work in complex and design-driven industries like training and simulation, architecture, engineering and construction, and industrial design.
With human-eye resolution plus simple and seamless integration to Unreal®, Unity®, Autodesk VRED®, Prepar3D®, and other industry-specific engines, VR-1 is the only device that can be used in fields requiring the highest visual fidelity and precision.
Whatever engine you use, VR-1 lets you design and train in a completely realistic VR environment, bringing every detail of your CADs, renders and simulations to life with never-before-seen clarity.

**There are a few items that are not provided in the Varjo VR-1 box. These will need to be purchased separately:
Base Stations (mandatory)
Base stations are used for the positional tracking of the headset. If you already have SteamVR™ 1.0 or 2.0 base stations, your device will work seamlessly with them. If you don’t have base stations, you’ll need to purchase them separately. We recommend using two base stations. VR-1 is also compatible with ART tracking.
Controllers (optional)
Controllers are used for interacting with virtual objects. VR-1 can be used without controllers, but your VR application might have specific interactions that require using a controller. If you want to use apps with controller-based interactions, VR-1 can be paired with all SteamVR™-compatible controllers.
